Hi Leah,
I just wanted to update you on Keely. She is doing very well. She is still overly curious of the cats, but is slowly getting better with correction. She has the run of the house now when we're not home, and when we are home she alerts us with a few barks when someone comes into the yard. Her and Cash get along so well. It's fun to watch them play together. She knows all her basic commands and loves special treats like sardines and cheese. She wouldn't get up on the couch with us for a long time (I don't think she was allowed on furniture in her old home) but now she'll get up when we invite her and lay her head on one of our laps. She didn't have any interest in eating for quite a while. We tried out a couple different types of food, and she is excited to get her food now, and her coat is much softer. She is very attached to Mark and gets upset when he leaves. She'll wait by the front window and watch for him to come back. She loves to swim and we are now discovering that she loves to play in the snow. I know she's 8, but she seems so much younger. She runs circles around Cash (who is just turning one this month) and is so excited to go to the park and go on walks. She is very gentle, especially with small children. She is such a perfect addition to our family, we are so glad we have her. Thank you for all your hard work in keeping this rescue together and for helping us find Keely.
