Hi Leah:
She is doing very well. I swear she has grown in a couple of days. She sleeps in her bed, has excellent eating habits and bowel movements. She doesn't like to mess in the house and already comes and gets us and goes to the door to go out. Her confidence has improved leaps and bounds. The first two days she was quite skittish but she is much better now. She has explored the whole flat and is curious about the cats. She loves to go for walks and meet people and dogs. She has very sweet submissive behavior with dogs. She likes to please and is extremely smart. She is sitting on command and drops things that she's not supposed to have.
She doesn't ‘get’ playing yet but is getting used to the idea. She found a ball last night on our walk and was very pleased with herself. She's very goofy. She come and finds us around the house and then scoots back to her area where her toys are. She also really likes her things. We got her several toys and she walks around the house with them. I have attached a couple of pictures.
A couple of questions. When do I get her next needles? We are trying to keep a balance between the fact that she has been traumatized and needs to feel secure and confident and, working on training and setting boundaries. What are your thoughts?
