Hi Leah, Thought I'd send an update and a few pics of our Abby. As you know, we feel blessed to have her with us. She has fit in to our life perfectly. It was definitely love at first site. As soon as she jumped out of your truck we knew she was the one. She is such a happy, content and playful dog. She is always wagging that huge tail of hers and amazingly hasn't knocked anything over with it - Shepherds seem to know the limits of the space they are in. Abby gives great hugs too. Abby and Zeppelin play outside any chance they get, racing around the yard. It's great exercise for them. They get along so well - they only had one little tiff over a rawhide and that was quickly resolved. Abby had her initial visit with Dr Robb. He suggested she lose a few pounds. I don't think that will be a problem with the exercise she gets. Otherwise she is perfectly healthy and he agreed with her estimated age of 4. Hope you like the pictures. Thank-you so much for starting your rescue. To think that Abby may have been put down is heartbreaking. We are so thankful that you were able to take her in. I know that with the compassion you show towards your animals that this rescue will be very successful.
