Mocha

  Mocha is a 2yr old spayed female Shepherd Mix who loves to romp and play. She needs an active family because when she has too much down time she tends to chase her tail. She does lots of growly sounds when she interacts but that is just her way of talking. She is well behaved and already knows basic commands. She enjoys running with other dogs but not sure if she likes cats. I would recommend that she goes to a family with children above 13yrs.She will take possession of a sock, cloth etc and hide it and guard it and needs someone with experience to work on this issue. We are confident that this will cease once she trusts the people she is with. She has already shown improvement in this area since she has been here.   Daisy

  Daisy is an 11month old Female Shepherd Mix who was left behind with someone who does not want her. She spends her days tied to a short chain then is taken into the house in the evening. She does not get walked and has no way to exert her puppy energy. She is sweet and loving and CRAVING attention. Obedience classes would definitely benefit this young girl.   Vinney

  Vinney is obviously not a shepherd but needs help finding a new home so we are searching for that perfect home. Vinney is only 10months old and full of energy so requires an active home. Due to his energy and excitability Vinnie needs to go into a home where children are 12yrs and up so no one accidentally gets knocked over. Vinnie does not like cats but likes the company of “calm” dogs. He has a lot of love to share but will require obedience classes. He will be neutered before going to his new home.   Blue

  Poor blue needs surgery before going to his new home. He is 7yrs old and loves everyone he meets but not sure about cats. Due to his constant ear infections his ear is in a bad way but will be getting fixed in the next week. Although Blue is uncomfortable and in pain he is still calm and loving and has a wonderful temperament. Blue’s owner could not afford the medical bills required to fix Blue’s ear but once it is fixed he may have a unique “look” but he will feel great and would make an awesome companion. Blue also resided in one home most of his life and has always been an indoor dog.   Buddy

  Buddy is a 7yr old Male Neutered Shepherd who is very calm and loving. He has had one owner but unfortunately his owner is now moving and Buddy will not be going. Please forgive the picture through the cage but that is the best picture I could get as the owner was not home and I needed to get a picture of Buddy. When I approached his kennel (a complete stranger) Buddy did not even bark. He stared at me suspiciously then came closer to say hello and give me his paw. Although, he is outside in his kennel during the day when the owner comes home, Buddy goes inside the house. He is not an outside dog. Buddy may be best in a home as the only dog because the owner has not introduced him to other dogs and does not know how Buddy would react. However, he may love other dogs and we will have to introduce him to a couple before making a decision on the type of home he needs. Please don’t let his age deter you – most 7yr old sheps are very active and have lots of years ahead of them.   India

  India is a 2 year old shepherd/husky mix. She is medium sized. She has been here for a week and a half and already she loves my children(3 and a half and 2), my dog, and anyone who comes to my home. Unfortunately i can't keep her because i already have one dog and i'm renting my home. She is a really happy dog, and she loves to play. I don't know much more about her because i have not had her that long. I would really like to find her a good loving home, because she is a really sweet dog.   Lindsay, Ben (Bentley) & Rosie

  These adorable pups are full of love and puppy breathe kisses. They are nine weeks old - 3/4 German Shepherd, 1/4 Lab. Obedience training and time at home to spend with these pups to make them into happy, balanced adult dogs is a must. These pups are going to be large.   Shelby

  Shelby is a large 4yr old female shepherd who loves to play, play, play. She is quite majestic looking with beautiful golden eyes She loves Frisbees, balls, squeaky toys, and getting sprayed with the hose.. She was apprehensive with dogs but seems to be slowly getting better. She loves to play with puppies but is still unsure of large dogs. She has lived a sheltered life so it takes some time to earn her trust but she is extremely loyal once she knows she is safe and loved. She would do best in a home with children over the age of 12yrs and someone who understands the Shepherd breed.   Tucker

  Tucker is a one-of-a-kind perfect German Shepherd boy, just waiting for a loving new family to bring joy to. Being a Shepherd, Tucker needs an experienced dog person who can give him leadership, exercise and a regular routine. Tucker is 16 months old, about 85 lbs., neutered, healthy and up-to-date in his shots. His mom was a beautiful white Shepherd and his dad, a black and tan Shepherd. Tucker is very affectionate, easygoing and playful with people and other dogs and would look forward to a game of catch or to playing with his favourite soft toy.
